Description

Alison is no girl-next-door. Dragged into a life of crime after arriving in England from Ireland. She works for small time gangster Max, whose fixation with Alison is the only reason she isn’t in prison… or dead.     A really gripping thriller. Wait for Me really looks at the true reality which some individuals in society have to face. Karen Hassan, playing Alison, plays the role well of a lost soul, dealing with difficult decisions. The overall film has a real sense of longing and thoughtfulness both in its script and direction. Highly recommend to any other drama / thriller fans.

    A thoroughly enjoyable crime thriller. Director Keith Farrell depicts a brutal life lived by the main character, Alison; and the widespread consequences of her actions. If you're looking for a light-hearted easy watch, this might not be the film for you. A brilliant film, I couldn't recommend it any more.
